4M Youth Camp: Building Life Skills
By ages 9-11, young people should have developed the basic cognitive, social, math and money skills that are critical to success and self-sufficiency later in life.
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) is raising $12,000 to host youth in the Mobile area at a 3-day camp that focuses on healthy decision-making.
At the 4M Day Camp, 4th and 5th graders are taught age-appropriate well-being concepts through the "Four M's"— meal planning, mathematics, money and manners. Campers will engage with local extension, community, non-profit, and government leaders, farmers and ranchers, chefs, entrepreneurs and corporate employees through guest speakers and site tours.
They will also complete daily activities designed to develop soft skills and explore careers in food, hospitality and the agricultural workforce. Under the direction of trained chefs, campers will prepare snacks and meals in a state-of-the-art cooking kitchen.
Auburn’s land-grant mission is to improve the lives of the people of Alabama. With your help we can deliver on that mission, reaching the far corners of our great state.
Help Alabama's youth learn healthy habits and lifelong skills to grow into accomplished adults!
A Habitat for Blue - Tell the Indigo Snake's Story
The Auburn University Museum of Natural History is raising $15,000 to build a new habitat for Blue, an Eastern Indigo Snake and the museum's ambassador.
The Eastern Indigo Snake — the largest in the United States — was sadly extirpated from Alabama in the mid 1950’s, but researchers at Auburn and the Alabama Natural Heritage Program have for decades worked to repopulate the species. A calm, graceful giant, Blue symbolizes the heart of this conservation project and has met more than 10,000 people in his career as its ambassador.
But Blue has outgrown his enclosure and needs one fitting of his celebrity status. In our project, we will construct a new habitat where you can visit Blue and learn about his environment in the longleaf pine forest, and other animals in the ecosystem like the Gopher Tortoise, a keystone species that builds the dens where Indigo Snakes often live.
The new enclosure will be on display in a location where students and the public can come and meet him! It will include a model of a Gopher Tortoise burrow that he can rest in, branches that he can climb on, and more space for him to explore. We will pair his new enclosure with signage highlighting the research being conducted on the Indigo Snake, including the reintroduction, ecology, and population genomics.
Help us give Blue a new home!
Advance Nursing Students’ Experience in Ecuador
The Study Abroad Experience in Ecuador is a life-changing program that provides Auburn nursing students with an opportunity for learning, personal growth, and travel.
This intensive experience allows undergraduate and graduate nursing students to work alongside medical professionals and child life specialists in providing healthcare to the people of Quito, Ecuador.
Students implement a one-week onsite medical clinic interacting with Auburn Nursing faculty and nursing alumni, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes mentorship and professional role modeling. The clinic’s unique strengths lie in students assembling all supplies, preparing the exam rooms, organizing the pharmacy, and providing detailed medication education.
The College of Nursing is raising $20,000 to support the upcoming study abroad experience, including the acquisition and transportation of medical supplies, medications, and the onsite clinic and pharmacy.
The Ecuador medical mission builds upon a comprehensive Auburn nursing curriculum that addresses the diverse array of skills required to provide direct patient care for people of all backgrounds and ages within the Ecuadorian culture. Most patients have very limited access to care and resources to promote healthy living.
Mentorship is a cornerstone of the clinic, with currently practicing nurse practitioners bringing experience and wisdom to assist our students in assessment, diagnosis, and interventions on behalf of the patients.
Your support will do more than provide native Ecuadorians the medical care and support they need — it will strengthen the next generation of Auburn nurses helping heal the world!
Boost Ag Career Awareness in Alabama High Schools
Agriculture is a major industry in the state of Alabama, contributing more than $77 billion and 273,000 jobs per year across food, fiber, forestry and green industries. The poultry industry alone accounts for a $19 billion impact on Alabama and represents an eighth of the state’s economy.
But despite an urgent need to increase food production, there is a dire shortage of agriculture graduates ready to enter the workforce.
The Department of Poultry Science is raising $20,000 to increase awareness about agriculture careers among high school students to encourage them to pursue a major in Auburn's College of Agriculture.
Each year the poultry industry accounts for 60,000 jobs, but there currently aren't enough graduates to fill open positions. Because of this, the Department of Poultry Science boasts a 100% job placement rate and starting salary of more than $60,000.
Support of our project will help fund recruiting efforts in the department, as well as youth programs like PoultryU, a series of camps designed for young people to explore the world of poultry. Help us build the agriculture workforce in our state!
Boost KPNC Forest & Land Management Capabilities
The Kreher Preserve and Nature Center (KPNC) is a 120-acre sanctuary of natural beauty that offers winding trails, nature-based family programming, and immersive environmental education to our community and beyond. Each year, thousands of children, families, students, and nature lovers explore the KPNC, gaining a deeper connection with its rich ecosystem and a greater understanding of natural resource conservation.
To ensure the KPNC remains a place of natural wonder for visitors of all ages for years to come, we are raising $20,000 to acquire a new all-terrain utility vehicle equipped for forest and land management across our rough terrain.
This vehicle will allow our staff to transport essential equipment, supplies, and project materials needed for habitat restoration, and to help remove fallen trees, litter, and other debris to ensure a clean and safe environment for our visitors.
Additionally, we hope to purchase a skid-mounted, 300-gallon water tank and a road-legal trailer that will greatly expand our land management capabilities. With this equipment, we’ll be able to support prescribed burns and respond more effectively to fire risk or environmental emergencies.
Your gift to this project is an investment in the future of this vibrant natural habitat and hub for environmental education programming. Thank you for your support!
Bridge the Language Gap: ESL Student Mentorship
The "Bridging the Language Gap" project is raising $15,000 to support a mentorship program pairing Auburn students from the World Languages, Literatures & Cultures department with local elementary school students who are learning English as a Second Language (ESL).
Our local elementary schools have many ESL students who face challenges in academic and social integration. This project will bridge the language gap by creating a supportive environment where ESL students can practice English and learn about local customs. At the same time, Auburn students will enhance their communication skills and cultural understanding.
Funds raised will cover multilingual materials, training for mentors and staff, background checks and ongoing program evaluation. Any additional funds raised will be used to expand the program to more schools and provide additional resources for both mentors and students.
By supporting this project, you are helping to create a valuable asset for both Auburn University and the local elementary school community. Please give today and help us bridge the language gap!
Thank you and War Eagle!
Build Future Health Heroes with Test Preparation
This Tiger Giving Day, Pre-Health Programs is raising $15,000 to provide Auburn pre-health students with outstanding test support.
With your help, we can provide 150 pre-health students free access to high-quality test preparation materials.
Required exams for professional school — like the MCAT, DAT, OAT, or GRE — are expensive, and so is test preparation.
Your gift will mean more students — no matter their background — will be better prepared for their application requirements, ultimately leading to outstanding patient care in Alabama and beyond.
Help us support Auburn’s future health professionals!
Cure Heart Disease in Puppies and Kittens
Many puppies and kittens are born with congenital heart defects, which in some cases can lead to heart failure or even death at a young age. Fortunately, the Cardiology Service at Auburn University’s Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital is internationally recognized for its expertise in minimally invasive heart surgeries.
Using advanced equipment and devices similar to those used in human infants, the service can perform successful cardiac procedures on animals weighing as little as two pounds. While these procedures can significantly improve or completely resolve heart conditions, not all owners can afford the necessary specialized equipment.
To address this issue, we are raising $30,000 to provide financial assistance for these vital cardiac devices, ensuring that more puppies and kittens can receive the treatment they need to live long, healthy lives.
With your support and generosity, Auburn can aim to cure heart disease in as many young animals as possible.

Empower Communities through Extension Internships
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) does more than just fulfill Auburn’s land grant mission — it gives students an opportunity to use their degrees while giving back to communities. Alabama Extension is raising $8,000 to support field internships for students.
Field internships are personalized to the student based on their major and interests.
These internships also introduce students to Extension and give them the opportunity to use their degrees while giving back to communities through participation in educational events and programs.
At the same time, Extension professionals who serve as intern mentors gain leadership experience.
Help us prepare the next generation of Extension professionals!
Enable Graduate Teaching Opportunities at OLLI
This Tiger Giving Day, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Auburn University is raising $7,000 to provide graduate students with real-world experience presenting their research to a discerning audience. Student instructors will be competitively selected to teach non-credit classes on their current field of study to a vibrant community of lifelong learners, including retired academics and business professionals.
OLLI is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for adults aged 50 and older by providing non-credit courses on a broad range of subjects, hands-on learning experiences, and opportunities for social interaction.
These student instructors will teach non-credit classes on their current field of study through thought-provoking discussion, while OLLI members receive intellectually stimulating instruction and social interaction — both of which have been shown to reduce cognitive decline and associated health risks related to aging.
This dynamic learning environment benefits all involved. By presenting to curious audiences with varying levels of exposure to their research subject, students learn to prepare engaging visuals, defend their research through thought-provoking discussion, and develop relationships with potential mentors.
Your generous support will help us attract talented graduate students who are passionate about sharing their knowledge with our members while preparing for the rigors of their professional careers. Please give today!
Equip Auburn ROTC Cadets for Excellence
The Auburn University Army ROTC is dedicated to developing the next generation of Army leaders who are physically ready, tactically trained, and mentally equipped to serve our nation with excellence.
As part of that mission, we are raising $18,000 to purchase a rugged off-road vehicle. This vehicle will enable our program to safely and efficiently transport key personnel, water, and life-saving equipment to remote training locations such as the Mary Olive Demonstration Theater and Fort Benning, Ga.
Currently, the terrain at these training sites challenges our ability to move supplies and people quickly and safely. By enhancing mobility in these environments, this project directly improves the quality, safety, and efficiency of our training operations.
It also empowers our cadets to lead in realistic, high-stress scenarios — building the confidence and competence they need to succeed as Army officers. This investment supports not only logistics but also the leadership development, tactical readiness, and physical performance of our cadets.
By contributing, you play an active role in preparing cadets for service and ensuring Auburn leads the way as one of the Southeast’s top ROTC programs.
Together, we can continue to raise the bar for training excellence and leadership development at Auburn University Army ROTC.
Equip the Disaster Relief Service Response Unit
The College of Architecture, Design and Construction is raising $10,000 for a mobile response unit to be used by our students for disaster relief and service learning projects.
Having a trailer fully equipped with tools, as well as electrical power, would enable students to travel to project sites with everything they need at hand. Past disaster relief projects in the Gulf Coast area brought to light how beneficial this asset would be.
We have already secured an enclosed trailer and installed a work bench and cabinets. Now, we need to outfit it with shelving, tools, safety gear and a generator.
With your support, we can fully stock the trailer and get our students out into the field to gain hands on experience and support communities in need.
