Expand Autism Care and Access for Alabama Families

This Tiger Giving Day, the Auburn University Psychological Services Center (AUPSC) and the Center for Autism Research, Treatment, and Training (CARTT) are raising $15,000 to provide children with autism access to intervention and assessment services.

One in 31 children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, but the number of children who can access services is much lower in Alabama, and the cost and travel to Auburn's clinic is a prohibitive barrier for countless families.

Numerous children and families are referred to Auburn's clinic for diagnostic evaluations, behavioral interventions and support, but many are unable to pay for services, even at a reduced fee.

Meeting our fundraising goal means we can provide diagnostic assessment, behavioral intervention services, and caregiver trainings at reduced or no costs.

Funds raised will also provide stipends and trainings for graduate students seeking specializations in autism assessment and intervention, and support for advocacy and outreach events within the community.

Auburn has the facilities, faculty and expertise to deliver high-quality comprehensive diagnostic services and behavioral intervention for children with autism.

Help us alleviate the financial burden on families seeking help for their children with autism!

Expand Horizons with Young Professionals Training

Research shows that connecting students with mentors and introducing them to a wide range of industries and professions at an early age can help them discover new interests and envision broader possibilities for their futures.

The Young Professionals in Training (YPiT) program is raising $7,500 to provide students in grades 5-12 with exceptional, out-of-classroom experiences that can transform their educational outcomes and career aspirations.

Through enhanced academic exposure and experiential learning, YPiT aims to change how students view educational and professional opportunities and provide tangible pathways to achieve their aspirations.

With your support, we can organize field trips to academic departments and professional workplaces and cover transportation costs for college campus visits across the region.

Any extra funds raised beyond our goal will allow us to expand the frequency and scope of these academic trips, potentially including overnight experiences and exposure opportunities.

Help us expand students' horizons and create pathways to success!

Expand Laptop Access for Auburn Students’ Success

The Auburn University Libraries' laptop checkout service has been a crucial resource for students over the past three years, providing them access to essential technology for academic success.

This service supplements the campus’ existing computing resources, addressing the limitations of computer labs that are not open 24/7 or lack specific software. However, our current program is limited in scope.

Laptops — available on a first-come, first-served basis — cannot be guaranteed, and checkout periods are restricted to meet demand. Students need these laptops as a temporary replacement for a broken device, for an exam, and for specific software for classes they cannot use on their current device. Examples of software titles requested are ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD 2025, Civil 3D Imperial, MATLAB, Revit 2024, Python, R, RStudio, Sketchup, and Xcode.

This Tiger Giving Day, Auburn University Libraries is raising $12,000 to expand this valuable service and ensure all students are properly equipped to excel in their studies.

Funds raised will help expand our laptop inventory, improve accessibility, and provide students with the technology necessary for coursework, exams, and specialized software needs.

Help us equip our students for success!

Fight Food Waste & Hunger with The Campus Kitchen

This Tiger Giving Day, the Campus Kitchen at Auburn University (CKAU) is raising $15,000 to purchase food storage pans, packaging containers, food-safe serving utensils, and more, enabling us to increase our ability to provide food to the Auburn-Opelika community.

The CKAU fights food insecurity and on-campus food waste by collecting leftover food from around campus and redistributing it as well-rounded meals. A leadership team of 110 Auburn students donate their time every week to this compassionate cause.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the CKAU collected more than 33,000 pounds of food leftover on campus and delivered 30,000 well-rounded meals through 19+ community partners. Hundreds of meals each week are delivered to Lee County citizens and to anyone in school or employed by Auburn University, no questions asked.

Your support will allow the CKAU to purchase new supplies, host on-campus events to grow our leadership team and volunteer base, and increase the number of community partners whom we serve.

Help us continue our mission of feeding the community!

Thank you and War Eagle!

Fuel Futures for Student-Athletes Beyond Sports

Balancing academics and athletics is a demanding challenge, often leaving student-athletes with limited time to explore career interests, build professional skills, and cultivate professional relationships.

Auburn Athletics is raising $20,000 to enhance efforts in preparing our student-athletes for success beyond their playing days. Funds raised will support a range of career development services, such as resume-building workshops, interview preparation, leadership training, job shadowing, and professional networking events.

This funding will enhance programs that will equip our student-athletes for life after college by offering specialized opportunities designed to help them transition confidently into the workforce. This includes connecting student-athletes with Auburn alumni, employers, and mentors who can guide them on their career journeys.

In addition, the initiative will help create internship opportunities tailored to each athlete’s academic and career goals. Whether pursuing careers in business, healthcare, education, technology, media, or other fields, our student-athletes will have access to resources that align with their passions and strengths.

This investment is about more than just employment — it’s about preparing student-athletes to be confident professionals, community leaders, and lifelong ambassadors of Auburn University.

Together, we can empower them to reach their full potential — on the field, in the classroom, and in their careers.

Fund Animal Emergency Response During Disasters

People aren't the only ones at risk when man-made or natural disasters occur. Livestock and pets may be displaced by a storm or sheltering in poor conditions at their current residence, farm or ranch.

The Auburn Veterinary Emergency Response Team (AVERT) is a group of trained professionals who volunteer to support communities affected by natural and man-made disasters.

To remain mobile and ready to deploy in an emergency, AVERT is raising $30,000 to support its mission of providing medical support for search and rescue efforts.

And, thanks to a generous donor, your gift will be doubled this Tiger Giving Day with a one-to-one match — up to $30,000.

Funds raised would go toward a livestock trailer and related equipment for large animal tactical rescue efforts and small animal sheltering capabilities, enabling AVERT to transport animals to safety immediately following a disaster event.

With your support, AVERT can offer essential services to communities affected by disaster events throughout Alabama and the entire nation when requested by partner disaster teams in other states.

Grow the Game and the Auburn Spirit on Ice

The Auburn University Ice Hockey Club is raising $10,000 to host a "Learn to Play Hockey" Youth Weekend at the Columbus Ice Rink. This inaugural event aims to introduce hockey to children aged 4-15 in the south, where the sport is growing quickly.

By providing all necessary equipment, including skates, sticks, helmets, and pads — at no cost to participants — we aim to make hockey more accessible to families who might find the sport too expensive to try otherwise.

Over the weekend, participants will focus on the basics of skating and off-ice skills, develop their passing, stickhandling and puck shooting, and play informal game scrimmages. All gifts will help cover advertising, rink rental, refreshments, and equipment costs, ensuring every child can participate without financial concerns.

The Ice Hockey Club is excited to make our sport more accessible in the region and inspire a new generation of hockey players to take up the sport.

Please give today to support this exciting new opportunity for our community!

Help Adapted Athletes Excel with Technology

This Tiger Giving Day, Auburn Adapted Athletics is raising $25,000 to provide our student-athletes with the technology they need to succeed both on and off the court.

Your support will help us provide iPads, sports-specific training technology, and video breakdown software to elevate their game.

These iPads will also be used in the classroom for note-taking, watching lectures, and submitting assignments. The sport-specific technology includes shot-tracking apps for basketball and tennis, play design apps for power soccer, and film breakdown software for all sports.

In previous years, the Auburn Family has generously supported our student-athletes with a recovery suite, strength and conditioning equipment, and medical devices to keep them strong and healthy. Now, providing technology to support both their academic and athletic endeavors will allow our student-athletes to continue excelling in college.

Please consider supporting us again this Tiger Giving Day as we set our student-athletes up for success in the classroom and on the court!

Help Alabama Pre-K Teachers Complete their Degrees

Early childhood educators are the foundation of Alabama’s Pre-K success — but many lack access to the education needed to grow in the profession. Across Alabama, over 1,400 First Class Pre-K classrooms serve young learners, but nearly 10% are led by teachers working under waivers because they do not yet hold a degree in early childhood.

These educators are already doing the work — and with support, they can meet state requirements and continue making a lasting impact in their classrooms.

The College of Human Sciences’ online Early Child Development degree completion program supports educators earning their bachelor’s degree while continuing to deliver quality learning experiences to Alabama’s children.

This Tiger Giving Day, help us reach a goal of $12,000 to directly fund scholarships for current Alabama childcare providers seeking their bachelor’s degree in early child development with the goal of becoming a Lead Teacher in an Alabama First Class Pre-K classroom. These funds would pay for one class for 10 students.

Our online degree completion program is designed specifically for working professionals, allowing them to continue teaching while earning their degree. Most of our students work full-time and earn less than $22,000 a year. For them, financial barriers — not ambition or ability — stand in the way of finishing their education.

Thank you for your consideration and War Eagle!

Help Auburn Offroad Improve Efficiency and Safety

Auburn Offroad is an organization that designs and builds off-road vehicles to compete in the Baja SAE series against 99 other universities across the country. Races allow us to see what worked and what failed in order to create a better car the following year.

This Tiger Giving Day, we are raising $10,000 for a CNC tube bender to help create parts more efficiently and safely.

As our team designs our car in CAD, transferring the lengths and angles into real parts can be a challenge. Our team currently uses a manual tube bender, a stressful and time-consuming process. Along with the difficulty in getting correct angles, it is also fairly dangerous — the force that it takes to bend the tube can easily hurt someone if it were to fail.

The CNC tube bender would allow us to program what bends are needed, reducing the risk of mistake and injury as well as the number of people required to use the manual tube bender. With a perfectly bended frame, we can assess if the other components will fit and work as simulated.

Help us as we strive to better our vehicle and represent Auburn well at competitions!

Help Auburn Students Soar in the Air Race Classic

The Air Race Classic is a historic four-day, 2,400-mile cross-country race that puts pilot skill, teamwork, and determination to the test.

It’s an exciting chance for our student pilots to race across the country, represent Auburn on a national stage, and show the world what Tiger Pride looks like in the skies.

To make it happen, the Auburn School of Aviation is raising $30,000 to send two student teams to compete in the Air Race Classic.

This funding will cover essentials for the teams, including flight operation costs, registration fees, and travel expenses to help these students chase their dreams.

By taking part in this historic race, our students are opening doors and helping inspire others to see aviation as a real and exciting career path. Every gift shows our pilots that the Auburn Family is behind them every step of the way.

Let’s help Auburn aviation students take flight — and fly far!
