Rural Health Initiative: Bridging Health and Hope
Imagine a future where every resident of Alabama has access to the health care they need, and Auburn students — equipped with knowledge and experience — bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
This is the vision of Auburn University’s Rural Health Initiative, addressing the critical shortage of health professionals in rural communities while also providing student participants hands-on experience that profoundly impacts their professional growth.
To make this vision a reality, we are raising $20,000 to cover students' time, travel, and the medical supplies essential for this critical initiative. Your gift will enable our students to work alongside medical professionals in rural communities in providing essential health services and education.
By participating in this work, our students gain hands-on experience that profoundly impacts their professional growth and the well-being of people across our state. They are not just learning; they are actively changing lives — bringing hope, healing, and a brighter future to those who need it most.
This experience can inspire our students to pursue careers in rural health care, addressing the critical shortage of health professionals in these areas and ensuring a healthier future for all.
All support will directly contribute to our mission of providing an exceptional experience for both student workers and the communities they serve. Join us in helping create a healthier, more hopeful future for countless individuals in rural Alabama.
Send the Auburn Women’s Chorus to Lincoln Center
From November 20-24, 2025, the Auburn University Women’s Chorus, by special invitation, will light up the stage at the world-renowned David Geffen Hall in New York City.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows our students to rehearse and perform alongside 200+ singers from across the country in a prestigious concert presented by Distinguished Concerts International New York.
Auburn’s choral ensemble has been specially invited to serve as the flagship choir for this performance, showcasing our university’s growing national reputation in choral music.
However, this transformative opportunity comes with costs — each student must cover their own travel, lodging, and concert fees. This Tiger Giving Day, the Choral Activities Division of the Music Department is raising $25,000 to ensure that all eligible students can participate, regardless of financial background.
Beyond the performance, this experience is a game-changer for our vocal majors as music professionals. It broadens their vision for musical success, introduces them to the demands and expectations of top-tier professional performance, and strengthens their musicianship, collaboration, and adaptability — essential skills in both the arts and beyond.
By giving today, you are expanding access to an elite musical experience, empowering students of all backgrounds through music, and showcasing Auburn’s talent on a national platform.
Additional funds will further assist with travel expenses, making this trip as enriching as possible.
Help the Auburn University Women’s Chorus take the stage at the Lincoln Center!
Spark Young Minds — Power Destination STEM
This Tiger Giving Day, Destination STEM is raising $15,000 to provide two exceptional STEM learning days for middle and high school students in the greater East Alabama region. These experiences will offer visiting students a glimpse into the life of a STEM scholar at Auburn University.
The Destination STEM Expo will host 1,000 students from 6th to 8th grade, offering them the chance to engage with 50 unique STEM exhibitors. This event aims to spark interest in STEM fields through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and engagement with over 100 Auburn faculty, graduate students, postdocs, and volunteers. Students get to observe the wonders of science at their own pace.
The Destination STEM Summit will cater to 200 students from 9th to 10th grade, featuring speed networking, hands-on workshops, a STEM expo, and inspiring speakers. This mini conference is designed to deepen students' understanding and passion for STEM with a more personal touch.
With your support, we can elevate Destination STEM and cover transportation costs, facility rentals and fees, swag, and food for participants.
Through these experiences, students will engage with STEM professionals, participate in hands-on workshops, and explore STEM fields they might not ever encounter, enabling them to be better prepared for their professional careers.
Please give today to help us inspire the next generation of STEM leaders!
Support Scholarships for K-12 Engineering Programs
The Engineering K-12 Outreach Office exists to inspire academically strong future engineers, build community relationships and create a pathway for students to transition from outreach to enrollment.
This Tiger Giving Day, we are raising $10,000 to provide scholarships for K-12 students who otherwise cannot attend our summer outreach programs.
Engineering Summer Expo and Senior Showcase: these are day programs for prospective students. During the day, students will explore the different engineering majors while participating in hands-on activities to tackle challenges for a particular theme. Sessions will be led by engineering organizations, faculty members and current Auburn Engineering students.
Auburn Engineering Summer Labs is a new program we hope to implement in 2026. It will be a series of one-day programs designed to inspire and engage elementary and middle school students in the world of engineering. Through hands-on activities, students will tackle real-world challenges, collaborate with one another, and learn from Auburn engineering students, staff, and faculty. Each session focuses on building leadership skills, fostering creativity, and learning engineering basics.
Help support students by providing hands-on experiences and fostering an early interest in engineering!
Support the Auburn Campus Career Closet
At the Campus Career Closet, our mission is to help Auburn students dress for success —at no cost to them. We are raising $15,000 to provide professional attire for job fairs, interviews and internships to ensure students feel confident and career-ready.
Confidence is key — research shows that students who feel good about how they present themselves are significantly more likely to secure employment.
But unfortunately, our current donation-based model isn’t meeting student needs. More than 70% of students who visit the Closet leave empty-handed due to lack of available sizes and styles.
Your gift today will allow us to purchase brand-new, curated clothing in a wide range of sizes and professional styles. By using bulk discounts and working with discount retailers, we can ensure that every student has access to versatile, business-ready attire that fits well and feels great.
- A $100 gift provides one student with a four-piece, mix-and-match professional outfit that is theirs to keep — creating multiple looks and ensuring they’re always prepared for a last-minute interview or networking event.
- Even smaller gifts make a meaningful impact.
- Larger gifts can help us stock the Closet more fully and sustainably.
With your help, students will leave the Campus Career Closet prepared, polished and confident — ready to take the next big step in their professional journey!
Give today and help us outfit the next generation of leaders. War Eagle!
Support the Baby Steps Scholarship
Baby Steps at Auburn University empowers expecting and parenting college students to complete their education while caring for their baby by providing housing, community and support.
The Baby Steps Student Organization is raising $10,000 to further empower student parents on Auburn’s campus. Funds will go towards the Baby Steps Scholarship, which will provide support to expecting and parenting students whose financial needs make attendance at Auburn University cost prohibitive.
If we exceed our goal, all funds will be contributed to additional scholarships for expecting and parenting students on Auburn’s campus.
This Tiger Giving Day, we invite you to consider making a generational impact by supporting student parents and tiny tigers in our Auburn Family. War Eagle!
Support “A Week on Broadway” at the Gogue Center
For Tiger Giving Day 2025, the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University is raising $12,000 to support “A Week on Broadway” — a five-day residency designed to offer students and community members the chance to engage with and learn from leading dance professionals.
The first initiative of its kind at Auburn, “A Week on Broadway” will bring visiting faculty and artists from the esteemed Broadway Dance Center to lead a weeklong series of master classes, artist talks and workshops. For students considering careers in dance, the program will provide professional-level training and opportunities to develop professional connections.
Your support will enable the Gogue Center to present 16 pre-professional-track dance courses to Auburn University students. Open to participants of all ages and experience levels, the week will culminate in a scholarship audition, with select students receiving awards to study at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
Funds raised beyond this goal will help offset additional expenses, including artist fees for master classes and workshops, guest meals and supplies.
Sustain the Honors College Week of Service Program
Since its inception, thousands of incoming Honors students have dedicated a week before the fall semester to volunteering and immersing themselves in service-learning experiences that go beyond traditional classroom boundaries.
This Tiger Giving Day, the Honors College is raising $10,000 for our annual Week of Service program. Your gift will provide items like safety equipment, tools and cleaning supplies, which are essential for making the program a reality. These necessary tools will enable our students to maximize their impact by actively assisting, building, cleaning and restoring the community.
The Week of Service program continues to be a transformative initiative that embodies the Auburn spirit of academic excellence and community engagement. This program represents a powerful commitment to service, providing students with a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on their local communities.
Building on the Honors College's rich tradition of service, the Week of Service complements the academic achievements of our students and also instills in them a sense of duty to continue serving their communities long after graduation.
Train Future Archaeologists at Camp Watts
Since 2023, an intrepid team of Auburn students and faculty have been tracking down the remains of Camp Watts — one of only two Camps of Instruction established in Alabama during the Civil War — to learn about camp life, the training of soldiers, and relations between the military installation and citizens in nearby towns.
This Tiger Giving Day, we are raising $10,000 to purchase archaeological equipment to elevate out-of-classroom, hands-on experiences as students search for the remains of Camp Watts.
We are seeking funds to purchase highly sensitive professional grade remote sensing (e.g. metal detectors) and advanced field equipment for students to use during the summer 2026 archaeological field school as they work to locate the remains of structures and activity areas associated with Camp Watts.
Camp Watts was established following the passage of the First Conscription Act in 1862. This Camp housed and trained thousands of soldiers, had permanent officers’ quarters, a commissary, stables, and operated a hospital (with an associated cemetery). The hospital cared for soldiers on both sides of the conflict. Camp Watts was partially burned in 1864 by Union forces as part of the Atlanta offensive.
In partnership with the Ginn Family Foundation, the Finding Camp Watts Field School provides a unique and transformative learning experience for students where they gain practical, hands-on experiences in an applied field setting.
Students are trained in multiple surveying methods, learn how to evaluate the results of different techniques and technologies, and emerge at the end of field school equipped with experience and skills that make them more competitive in the job market. Please give today and assist our students in their success.
Help us uncover the history and mystery of Camp Watts!
Transform Lives Through Eating Disorder Treatment
Almost 30 million Americans — including over 430,000 Alabamians — will experience an eating disorder in their lifetime. Yet access to specialized, affordable treatment remains a critical barrier for many.
The Auburn Eating Disorders Clinic (AEDC) is working to change that by providing high-quality, low-cost care to children, teens and adults in the Auburn-Opelika area and across Alabama.
The AEDC is also a vital training ground for Auburn University Clinical Psychology doctorate students, equipping the next generation of eating disorder specialists with hands-on experience under expert supervision.
This Tiger Giving Day, we at the AEDC need your help to raise $15,000 to fund a full-time graduate student clinician.
Your gift will directly support a clinician-in-training, allowing them to provide life-changing treatment to individuals who might otherwise go without care. These funds not only expand access to evidence-based treatment for our community but also help shape future eating disorder specialists who will go on to serve Alabama and beyond.
Every dollar makes a difference. Please give today to help us continue our mission to train the next generation of eating disorder therapists and effectively treat eating disorders in our community.
Thank you for your generosity and War Eagle!
